No, that's not some deep existential question, although if you can answer that, leave me a note. No, I mean, how did you get here and what are you hoping to find?
I imagine everyone who starts a blog has great plans to add to it regularly, to pour out great thoughts and develop a devoted following. I imagine that everyone is so busy doing that, that no one is reading anyone else's blog.
So, this blog is for me. It's a constant reminder to write more. You're welcome to read it; otherwise, I wouldn't be posting it, But you won't find any, well, maybe some, business-related communications advice.
There's no shortage of people giving advice. Anyone who has ever done anything is now, not only an expert but has videos and blogs and some other social media excursion to prove it.
So, if you're looking for marketing or public relations advice, go to LinkedIn. That site is full of that drivel.
If you're in need of public relations, advertising, marketing, or other related skills, well, I'm not going to tell you how to do my job. Send me a note, tell me what you're looking for, and we can go from there. We probably won't start where you'd expect. No, I'd start looking at how you're already perceived, how you fit into your market, look at your competitors. Then, we'll have a basis for discussion.
If you're looking for an editor--and if you're a self-publishing author, I certainly hope you are--let me know the level of editing you're seeking. It's easy to have all the words spelled correctly, have the nouns and verbs agree, and still leave a reader confused.
Until then, this page is just for my thoughts. I'm surprised you found it, wondering why you're still reading, and curious if you'll come back.
